Dont be fooled by that face.

We have had some busy times in our lives, but this past two weeks, just seems to take the cake. My mom and little brother JD came down from Washington the Saturday before Christmas, and brought two friends along. We spent every waking moment with them, catching up on news, going to see the lights and trying to make it as fun as possible for JD's friends. We hooked up with Judd and Amy one night for a bouncing good time at Jump On It. It is a warehouse full of trampolines. It was so fun, once we got there, it was a 1 1/2hour drive to the place, on snowy, icy roads. But once we were there, it was a blast. Jae and Boston loved jumping around. I loved it to,but realized that I am getting old, after about 1/2 hour, my back hurt, and I had hurt myself about 3 times. After we pealed the kids out of there, we had a late night dinner and then headed home. Then the partied started, the Annual Poll Family party, I remember this party as a kid, going on Christmas Eve and playing BINGO and dancing. It was so awesome. Ben and I started going when we got married, and have made it a Gunn family tradition now. Christmas Eve was at the Gunns, where we all got our jammies and then headed home. We had a Wright family party in there also, it was so cute. Karen and Crystal had put together the story of Jesus' birth, and the kids put it on. It was priceless. Needless to say, we have been so busy. But we had a great Christmas.
Yesterday Ben's little brother got married. It was so nice. We got to the temple a little bit later than we were suppost to and nearly gave Ben's parents and family a heart attack.( Sorry guys, didn't mean to add stress to the day. ) It is always so nice to see young people make that decision to be sealed in the Temple. It snowed all day and I think it just made it that much more beautiful. The temple had a pipe burst, so part of the temple was flooded and we had to do all pictures outside, so we froze. But it was so fun. At the reception, we all had to get dressed up, I love to see Ben in a tux. He looked so handsome. We have one more family wedding reception tomorrow, and then hopefully back to normal bedtimes, and a clean house and I will get over this laringitis. I have been so bad at taking my camera places lately. So Ill just post what I have. Hope everyone has a safe and fun New Year.

Sooo long Sippy

This cute kid, and this awesome sippy have been very good friends for awhile now. I'm sure that if I took the time to look through some of our pictures, I would find plenty that are of Jae holding this particular sippy. Every time he asks for a drink, he asks for it in the "soccer". I have to tell him that it is dirty sometimes, just to make sure that it gets washed on occasion. Now I know that Jaegan is 2 1/2 and should not be attached to a cup like this. But he loves it and I'm a softy. So this past week, I have noticed that it has started to leak. I opened it up to make sure that the bright purple stopper was in there, and it was. It was just in the bottom of the cup. So my conclusion is, that is getting old, and worn out. The stopper is no longer doing its job.n I'm not really sure how I am going to get rid of it. Jae is going to be so upset. Santa may have to hunt for the next 9 days for the same cup. Hopefully leaving it in his stocking.

The Season has finally arrived

He loves to shovel

I have had the hardest time getting into the Christmas holiday this year. But yesterday I made sugar cookies and we had some friends over to help decorate them. It was a lot fun, and it finally started to feel like Christmas. Then today we woke up to snow.. I love the snow. So Boston and I went to Wal-mart and bought a snow shovel and we shoveled the drive way and down our side walk. I kept trying to take the shovel away from Boston, to make it go a little faster, but he would not let me. He told me he was helping our neighbors. He is so cute. Growing up. After about an hour we finally got done, and he still was ready to go do every ones drive ways. Maybe if Ben helps him he can do the whole neighborhood.

Decking the Halls

Finally on Monday we decided to get out the Christmas decorations. I had the whole night planned in my head, we would bake cookies, have egg nog, listen to Christmas music and have the fire place on. ( well our fireplace DVD) We had so much fun. Ben got started on the tree and after about 4 hours, we had the lights on and looking good. Boston could not wait to put the topper on, so it was the first thing to go on. The boys were so good, to not touch the train. They love it. We were alittle worried that Gracie, the little girl that I watch, would be in the tree all the time, but so far so good. Everyone has been really good about leaving it all alone. Except the button to turn the lights on. They love to push it. Our lights are always on, which is fine with me. I love the holiday season.

Thanksgiving week-end

We had such a great Thanksgiving week-end. We ate dinner at my dad's house and it was delis. I was so proud of myself for remembering the camera, but once dinner started I was so excited that I forgot to take any pictures. We then made plans to go shopping in the morning, and then last minute decided not to. We were kind of sad that we didn't, but I'm sure we save ourselves a ton of money. Our week-end did not stop there, on Saturday we went to Baylor's baptism and then straight to the Gunn's for Ali's bridal shower. I think we did a great job putting it together, and we have awesome food. Erik had a lunch break and ended up coming over and being with Ali. We are really excited for Ali to be apart of our family. We think that she is so awesome, and so good for Erik.
