Happy Moments

Boston use to get so excited when he saw the Temple, so when the Draper Temple open house was getting close, we got excited to take Boston. We had thought that we would leave Jae home and just take Boston, but I was so glad that we didn't. I had such an amazing time. I love the Temple, I love that I am sealed to my family forever. So the minute that we got to the Church and sat down to watch the info movie, I got a little teary eyed. I knew that I was in for it. We started to walk through the Temple, there wasn't a lot of people there and so we really got to take our time and stop and talk to Boston about things. When you get to the Celestrial Room you get to go in and sit down and talk about being sealed to your family. I had Boston on my lap, and explained to him that because Ben and I got Sealed in the Temple, that we got to be a family forever. Boston was just looking at me and then reached over and gave me a hug. I got all weepy again because it was like he was saying "Thanks mom".
So that is a long story just for that special moment, that I will never forget. It was so special to have my family in the Temple together. I recommend everyone go.

I just love spending time together, so I was excited to take Boston skiing again on Sat. He is doing so well. He cryed of course when it was time to go. Thanks to Adam and Matt for taking him home, so Ben and I could ski together for a little while. Thanks to Craig for taking us. We had such a fun week-end.

Short Hair

1. 2.
Help!
I have hair issues. You will understand more if you read my facebook. Anyways, I hate my hair. I tried to grow it long, like Krystal and Alisa's. ( they both have beautiful hair) but I look like a freak, so I cut it. But I think that I want to go even shorter. My cousin Oakley has that cutest hair ever, but I cant have the same hair cut, so I need some advice. These are a few that I like, but if you have any suggestions I am up for it. Especially you that are "hair doers"
Thanks guys, I plan on cutting it, or not, next week, so get your say in.

Swimming Lessons

Jae wanted to get in so bad. He loves the water

Splashing!
So Big, Already going under water.

Listening so hard.

Boston started his swimming lessons on Monday. He was so brave. He jumped right in, and was a little fish. I don't want to brag or anything, Buuut, he was the best swimmer in his class. I told him that he had to learn to swim, so he could jump off the diving board. So after his class, he asked if he could go jump off the diving board, and was told no. He has to finish his classes first. Silly Boy.

One Crazy Week-end

Last January Ben and I went on a cruise and left our two boys with Judd and Amy for 10 days. Needless to say we have owed them some babysitting time.
So this week-end we took the kids for the week-end. I was so excited to let Boston and Tyler play together all week-end, that I didn't think about the fact that we live in a 3 bedroom town house. Not a lot of room.
They had such a good time though. They came over Friday night and ate dinner and then everyone went to bed. Ben was gone to a scout camp, so I was on my own the first night. I kept thinking that I should go to bed as well, but I don't sleep well when Ben is gone, so I stayed up late so I would be tired and sleep better. This was not a good idea, for Tyler is not a very good sleeper. We were up almost all night. We got about 3 hours of sleep.
Everyone got up and we started our Saturday. Ben got home and I put him in charge and I snuck a hour nap. Everyone played so good together, and by about 4 everyone was in need of a change of pace. We didn't have a car that would fit everyone so we really couldn't go anywhere and so we decided to try out the Kangaroo Zoo that is just down the street. It is a inside blow up bounce zoo. Lots of bounce houses and slides. They had so much fun. We stayed a couple of hours and by then end, everyone was sweaty and super sleepy. I was super stoked thinking that everyone would sleep better.
After a bath and dinner, everyone was put to bed and a I prayed that everyone would sleep soundly through the night. Ben and I hit the hay and after putting Tyler back to bed 3 times, we finally were ready to sleep. Not 5 minuted after we laid down, our fire alarm went off. Luckily just once and then nothing. Ben got up and checked things out, finding no fire. So we went back to bed. We had a better night, still not the sleep I was hoping for.
Sunday we decided to skip church and go to the park. We had so much fun. Everyone loved the swings, even Jaegan. Ben had to go to church and so again I was left on my own with all 5 kids. Sunday really was a good day and we were excited to have the kids over.

A few things that we have learned after having 5 kids.
1. We will need a bigger place if we have more kids
2. My brain does not work in the middle of the night
3. A mom of 5, has no time for anything, but cleaning and cooking
4. Inside play areas are life savers during the winter
5. Some times you just have to bundle up to get out of the house
6. Two parents is WAY easier than 1
7. You can never find the things you need when you need them ( camera)
8. With 5 kids, you don't have time to look for things that you need
9. Deacons are crazy ( They got into a fight at church and Ben had to break it up)
10. We love our niece and nephews.

Babies on the brain

I couldn't sleep last night because I have babies on the brain. I kept dreaming about all the babies in my life. Not my babies, Boston and Jae, but babies that I will know. Does that make since. Ill explain, Last night Jess and Kelly had their baby girl, Rachel. Things went well, Kelly had her via C- section because she was breach. But Jess said that she was beautiful and healthy. 18 1/2 inches long, and 5 lbs and some odd ounces. She was 1 month early, but is beautiful. So because I really wanted to be there, I dreamt about it all night, then my dreams went to my best friend from high school, Kate. She is prego with her first child, and dreamt about her for a while. I kept waking up hearing babies. I think that I was having sympathy sleep for Jess and Kelly. Anyways, the point is I am excited for everyone to have their babies. I know so many people that are having babies right now.My sister Amberlee,Jami, Oakley, Lyndsey, Lindsey, Kate, Sarah just had a baby, and now Jess and Kelly. That is a lot of people. Anyways. Oh and just so everyone knows, and you don't have to ask. If does not give me any desire to have a baby any time soon...

Bath Time

Jaegan LOVES the bathtub. Every time he hears the water running, he runs. This morning, I got him in the shower, and got him all dressed. About 10 minutes later, Boston wanted to get in the tub. I put him in my tub, so I could watch him while I got ready. Jaegan was watching Boston and I was drying my hair upside down. I turn around and Jae is standing in the tub, with his look on his face, like " can I get in". So I just let him get in. He ended up staying in there til Boston got out. Boston kept telling me to get him naked. So I did. This was the best morning of his life.
( Sorry the pictures are so foggy, it was hot in the bathroom, and the camera was cold)
