Hi!
This week has been so much better. Hurray!!
Ben and I went to see our house, they have it all framed and wired. They say from here it is about 60 days til move in. I am really excited. I had forgot some of what the house looked like. So it was fun to go and be reminded.
We have been spending time with the Oaks family this week. It is fun to have everyone around.
I guess I don't have as much to say as I thought I did.
Jaegan is crawling and is so much happier than he use to be. He likes to hang on to your fingers and walk. He is pretty good at it. He has started to eat more solid food. Grandma Keri gave him some pizza crust the other night, and he loved it. He is growing up so fast.
Boston is Boston. I don't know how to describe him. He is still coming into our bed, but not every night, so that is getting better. He is still having nightmares. He cries that he doesn't want me to leave him. Its really sad. He has had quite the week as well. He has fallen off the chair about 5 or 6 times and then got bitten at school. Then a couple of days later, he was fallowing his teacher, and she turned around and hit him in the head with a bucket, and got a cut on his forehead. She felt really bad, but he is tough.
For you that are going to our married cousin week-end. We are thinking about going April 11-12. Meagan is coming up that week-end. So lets stay in touch and make our final plans. We will head up Friday night, and come home late Saturday night.
Well I'm trying to do better at blogging, sorry they are boring.

My Week
So Ben has told about his crapy week, so now it is my turn. My week started on Monday with a parent coming into the office, saying that her son was being "touched" in the bathroom by another child. They are 4. So all week we delt with a mad mother who didnt like the way we were handling the situation and telling other parents about the situation. It was such a mess, just when you think we thought we had it taken care of. Someone would need another statement or need to know what was said. It was a mess. Then on Thursday I got to work and found out that we had a huge puddle of water in 2 of our classrooms. So we called the maintance man (Mr. Bob), who tore apart both bathrooms. In the end, we couldnt find the leak and had to call in RotoRooter. They cut holes in the walls, holes in the floor, we ended up with a 2 foot hole in the floor. Needless to say it was a very crap week, all around.
Then as Ben said he got into an accident. You cant get mad in these kind of situations, because there is nothing that you can do about it. But I just have to say. I have told him so many times not to follow so close, and everytime I say anything he say " I am not the one who has been in an accident". ( I was in an accident when we first bought the car, by some lady ran a red light, It wasnt my fault). So I guess he cant say that anymore.
So we are both so glad it is the week-end. My week-end did start pretty well, On Friday when we got home, My boss called and said that our center was # 1 in our district and we had got a bonus, and she would give it to me on Monday. So after a really crappy week, my week-end started off pretty well.
Well we are all good now and going to enjoy our week-end. I hope that you all do the same.

What a freaking week!
Well, I can honestly say that I am extremely glad it's Friday. Why? Everyone, all together: Worst week ever!
While my friends the Straders would say that this is a typical day for them, for me, it was absolutely nuts all week and never let up. Ironically it peaked on Wednesday when my day started by getting chewed out by a patient who felt we were overcharging her and taking advantage of the uninsured. After 10 minutes of back and forth, with me miraculously keeping my cool, she finally hung up on me. Why do they take so long to hang up? Do they actually think we are still listening?! Then on my way home, I got in a car accident, sliding into the back of a Porche (That's right, a Porche. Do I know how to pick 'em, or what?) on my way home from work. My first ever accident after 11 years of clean driving. Awesome. It's been a long time since I had a day like Wednesday.
Today, my office was a turnstile of coworker disdain as (I kid you not) 90% of my staff found themselves in my office complaining about one thing or another. Fortunately, only one shed tears (I hate that!). We had to have an impromptu staff meeting just to make sure everyone wasn't going to walk out or bite each other's heads off.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend.

Jaegan is Crawling
After weeks of toying with the notion of forward motion, Jaegan took his first, uh, crawl into a bigger world yesterday as he officially crawled. Mom couldn't wait to call me at work and tell me that he started to crawl at school. He's still not very fast, but turn around for a second and he's not anywhere near where you left him. He crawled into the bathroom two times this morning while I was getting ready for work. We're just hopeful that this will make him less grumpy. He was really getting on our nerves while he would lay there on his belly and flail his legs and arms like a fish, screaming for someone to pick him up. We're hoping his new found ablility to explore will temper his, um, temper.
I kept telling myself I don't know why we are so excited for him to crawl, though. Now we have to baby-proof our house all over again!

FHE Comedy
During Family Home Evening tonight, Jenny was teaching us about priorities and what we need to do to return to Heavenly Father. During the lesson, she asked Boston "When you die, do you want to return to live with Heavenly Father?" Boston obediently answered yes.
As she was wrapping up the lesson, Jenny asked him "Boston, what do you need to do to return to Heavenly Father?"
Boston promply answered "Die."

Our Family
So I haven't blogged in forever. I thought that I would just give a quick hi and tell everyone what has been going on. Ben does a pretty good job of keeping everyone posted but I thought I would give me point of view.
Boston is getting so big. He is finally potty trained!! Hurray!! I dont ever what to do that again so Jae may be 4 before he gets potty trained. It's a huge relief to have him pee and poop in the potty by himself. He is pretty independant but has decided that he likes to sleep with Ben and I. This is so strange becuase he never has slept in our bed before not even as a infant. But he usuall ymakes him way in about 5:00 or so and falls asleep next to me. If I wake up, I usually carry him back into his room and put him back in bed. I thought maybe he was getting cold at night but now that it is warmer, I think it may just be habit. He also is so lovey. This coming from a kid who never likes to cuddle or give loves. He wakes up and wraps himself around my leg and I have to pry him off to go anywhere. He also crys when he goes to class. So I dont know what to think about his new personality. He is still so funny. His new favorite saying is " That is a great idea mom" He is very inthusiastic. I like it, It makes me feel smart. Everything I say is a great idea. Love it.
He loves Scooby Doo, and I really like watching the DVD's with him, I love cartoons. And He is really into Little Enstiens also. He can sing the theme song, It's cute, him and Emma are into it together. He is growing up so fast and he is so funny. I love being with him. He is awesome.
Jaegan is a bugger. I love him so much to, he is jsut so diffrent from Boston. Jae is 9 months old now and is trying to crawl. He HATES it when you walk away from him, and crys and whines. So we have been trying to get him to crawl but he just lays on his belly and frails his legs and arms at an amazing rate. He looks like he is trying to swim. I have to remind him that he is a boy not a fish. He is alittle grumpier that Boston was but I love him to. He doesnt sleep through the night yet. We had him sleeping thorugh that night before we went on our cruise but he got on a new schedule while we were gone and we haven't got him back yet. Its faster to make hima bottle and give it to him rather than let him cry himself bak to sleep. I know I should just do it. Well I'm sure this is quite boring for everyone, but it will be fun for me to read later.
I'm still working at KinderCare. We are getting into our March of Dimes this month. I love it. I feel good raising money for a good cause. And what a better cause than babies.

We are the Champions!
I don't mean to brag by way of this post, but I don't think I've ever been on a team that has been the champion of anything. Well, last night, my elders quorum team fought through a double header to win our stake championship!
The drama really came in the first game. Down 12 or so at halftime, we battled back to tie the game in the final minutes. After a little back and forth, Jason Burgess (cousin of Sam Burgess of BYU) hit two clutch free throws to tie the came with 40 some-odd seconds to go. After a huge defensive stop and rebound, we called a time out to plan the final play. With 16 seconds left, we brought the ball down the court and dribbled out to about 5 seconds left. The ball was in Brett Jenson's hands as he drove from beyond the 3 point line to the middle of the key and, with 3 defenders hanging on him, made an amazing off balance banker from about 5 feet out. The opposing team had 1 second and made a last ditch heave, but to no avail. Thanks to Stan Goodell for showing up for the second half and providing the leadership to bring us home.
The second game was a good one, but not quite as dramatic. We held a two point lead at the half. The hero of the first game had gone to get stitches after getting elbowed in the chin (Hey, it's church ball, right? Someone had to get stictches.). We were able to maintain a lead through most of the second half as it ended up coming down to free throws. With about a minute and a half left, the other team started fouling. We were up six or so at that point; two made free throws made it an 8 point game. They dribbed down and hit a three to cut it to five. We made two more free throws off the quick foul, after which they proceeded to hit another quick 3. 4 point game. With about 30 seconds left, we missed one of two to make it a 5 point game. They brought it down and got two looks at a three. On the second attempt, the shooter was fouled. At the line, he missed all three free throws. We hit two more off the quick foul and put it away.
I know a lot of you won't find this interesting, but I had a good time. Church ball really is a good way to get some exercise and get to know the guys in the ward, especially when you've been in young men's for almost 3 years. Region starts a week from Saturday!
