Boston's Birthday

Bostons birthday was on Sunday, he finally turned 4. We told him that we were going to Disneyland for his birthday, and so he has been asking every morning if he is four yet. We can finally say yes. He is so funny, everything he does now is because he is four. He can balance on one leg because he is four, and four year olds can go down the slide on their belly's. It so fun to have him grow and get smarter. But I still miss him being so little. Luckily when it is bed time and he doesn't want to got o bed. He likes to cuddle with me. Which is every night. The kid hates to sleep. He told me the other night, while screaming and crying, " I'm done with this, I asked him what he was done with, and he told me, " sleep".

So here are a few pictures of him at his party. Thanks everyone for coming..

Good News

So, I have been waiting for Ben to post, but he hasn't so I will. ( No I'm not pregnant)
Ben applied to the University of Utah, and was accepted. He is going to get him MBA. He is going to be taking classes at night. So I will be a single mom for the next two years. I am so proud of him for going back to school. I know that he will be a awesome student.
Classes start in August. I will be stopping by peoples houses a lot more, I hate being home alone. Well I love you babe. Oh I think I know why Ben hasn't posted. Maybe he didn't want people knowing he was going to the U. Sorry baby.

Elevator Emergency

So, I thought of another funny moment in California. Actually I didn't think of it, my nephew Caleb did. We were in the elevator at the condo, and Jaegan pushed the fire department button. usually he doesn't push it hard enough to do anything, but this time he did. I tried to hurry and push the cancel button, but it was to late. The operator can on, and I had to explain that my son had pushed the button. She didn't seem to happy about it. It was pretty embarrassing. Looking back on it, it was so funny.

( I love this picture, he looks so tough)

Disneyland

Me and Boston on a roller coaster, he loved this ride!

Jae, really was having fun. He just wasn't smiling

Mommy and Boston love each other, even though, I forgot him in the car

This is the smile that Boston had on his face the whole week.

I wont give you a minute by minute account of our trip to Disneyland, but I will tell you a few of my favorite moments. And share a few of my fav pictures.

Jae being scared of the plane engines. I got to cuddle him.

Sitting on the beach in the sun

Walking into Disneyland, its so magical

Taking Jaegan on the merry-go-round

Seeing the San Diego Temple

Realizing that I forgot Boston in the car ( not a favorite moment, but so funny), I got two kids out of the car, just not mine.

Seeing Minnie Mouse, (she loved me)

Tower of Terror

Dole Whip

Watching Jaegan see Handy Manny walk past us

There are so many more. I will have to post about them, as I think of them.

I hate this, I hate this, I hate this!

That is a direct quote from Boston. We went to church today, here in California. We strolled by the NewPort Temple before church and talked about why we celebrate Easter. Even with all that "inviting the Spirit", Boston still seems to loose it. He is pretty restless in Sacrament meeting, but we keep it to a minimum roar. As we are leaving though, I tell him he is going to take a nap when we get home. This is when he proceeds to have a ROYAL MELTDOWN!! I manage to get us out of the building first, thank goodness. I throw him in the car and we buckle him in. I say we, because it takes Ben and I to buckle him. We finally get him in and he unbuckles himself, not once but twice. So I have no choice other than to hold the seat belt. At which point the " I hate this, I hate this, I hate this" begins. Over and Over. Everyone is coming over and laughing and trying to calm him down. I just want everyone to get in the car, so we can go home. He freaks all the way home and proceeds to fall asleep as soon as we get him into bed. It was awesome. I will someday laugh at this, but right now, I'm still just trying not to cry.

One cute thing came out all of this. My cute niece Emma, who is 3, kept telling Boston to "stop freaking, and that everything is okay". She has the cutest little voice. Thanks Emma for trying to help.

Conference Weekend

We love Conference week-end. When Ben and I were first married, we would go to Provo for a mission reunion, and then spend a good portion of the week-end with Lincoln and Carina. Ever since we have had kids, it has been harder and harder to get together. So since they are leaving soon to go to school, we really wanted to get together. They came up to our house on Friday night, and we had pizza, played games and had so much fun. I wish that I had taken a picture of the kids going to bed. we let them all sleep in the same room, and all night we could hear them laughing and playing. We just decided that it was a sleep over, and that is how we did it when we were little.
Saturday morning we got up and had breakfast and then listened to conference. We had so much fun. We love their family. We are going to miss them so much.

Aunt Sarah

We took our boys to Sarah's Back to Broadway Musical. I was a little worried. Our boys don't actually sit still for very long. But they did great. Boston loved it, he was on the edge of his seat, literally. He was so excited to watch everyone sing and dance. During the Wizard of Oz number a witch came out and scared Boston to death. He jumped onto Ben's lap and asked if she was real or pretend. It was really cute.
Jaegan was having fun too. At one point he noticed Sarah on stage, and when she left, he was asking where she went. It was so cute.
So Good job Sarah, we really enjoyed ourselves.
