Another favorite place

We found a great deal at Costco the other day, for a pass to the new Boondocks in Kaysville. We thought that it would be a great way to spend a rainy and gloomy day. I lost my camera, and so sorry that the pictures are not that great. (If anyone has seen my camera, let me know)

The boys loved playing in the play area, and the bowling, but Boston's favorite was the motorcycle. Jaegan loves the merry-go-round.

Kangaroo Zoo

Last week I didn't have to watch the girls at all, so I decided that we were going to have a "staycation" of our own. Ben was very busy with work and school, so it was just Boston, Jaegan and I. We tried to make everyday fun, and try a few new things, or go and do a few of their favorite things again. My fun neighbor called and invited us to Kangaroo Zoo, and since we had not been there in a long time, we decided to go. They had such a great time. Boston of course was fearless, and climbed and slid down everything. Jae was a little nervous at first, but soon was fallowing Boston all over. I wish I had gotten in there and played with them more, but I don't think I was suppose to. I wish I was a little kid again. They have the coolest "toys" for them now.

A great day of skiing

We had such a fun day today. We decided to take advantage of Alta's ski for free after three. It only gives you a few hours to ski, which was perfect for Jaegan. He was such a trooper. He was still figuring out how to ski on his own legs, rather than having us carry him down. But he never cried or got upset. He really liked it. Boston could have skiid all day. He loves to ski. It snowed so much while we were there, and we had a hard time getting out of the parking lot, but it was worth it. We had so much fun. I hope that we can do it a couple more times before the season is over.

Dear Uncle Derrek

Yesterday was such a sad day. Derrek passed away. Ben and I were so glad that we were able to be there, and express our feelings for him before he passed away. We have loved having Derrek and Randee in our lives. We will miss him so much. I'm so glad that we have the knowledge of eternal families. We will see each other again, and it will be such a sweet day. Remember Karen and the kids in your prayers.
We love you more than you will ever know Derrek.
