Busy Week Ahead

Well, as we begin to close out the month of October, this little Gunn family has a busy week ahead. I have young men's tomorrow night, then Thursday we are planning on going to look at some houses with Matt. Friday we have a ward "Chili Cook Off" for which I am planning on making Karen's (my mother in law) white chicken chili. I am hoping it will wow the ward as it does me. I look forward to this time of year almost exclusively for the fact that I will be able to consume this divine culinary concoction. If I make it half decently, I will make it sometime for everyone. It is SOOOO good. Saturday we have a big day lined up, spending the morning in Lehi with Lincoln and Carina to take in the sights and sounds of Thanksgiving Point's Halloween festivities. Then we have two Halloween parties to attend in the afternoon, one hosted by Karen and the other by Sarah. I really do love this time of year!

Hopefully the weather and everyone's health will hold up. The weather is actually supposed to be decent all week. So far, so good. A bit mild, but no storms which have been the norm for about the last month. We are supposed to have a storm-free weekend for the first time in about a month, so we'll cross our fingers with that.

Jaegan seems to be getting over his stomach flu, but threw up his whole bottle again yesterday. Boston woke up with a fever this morning and Jenny is under the weather with a cold as well. I'm knocking on wood as I type in hopes that I don't end up sick as well. I usually have this uncanny ability to avoid major illness, but with so much going on around me it might be inevitable. I am going to get my flu shot today, so hopefully that will help!
