4th Of July

We love the 4th of July. We always have such a great time. On Friday we went to Beau and Kari's house to watch some fireworks, it was so fun. They live right across the street from the park, and so we were getting pelted with debis from the fireworks. It was fun. Boston and Jaegan both had their first experience with sparklers. They were a bot scary for me, but they loved them. Boston does not really like fireworks, so he stayed pretty close to Ben and I and covered his ears. Jae loved the first couple, he even laughed,and then started to cry, and went and sat by my dad. Grandpa helped him "shoot" them, and he was fine after that.

On the 4th, we went to the Kaysville parade, and had a blast. Ben is SOOOO loud. Which is awesome, because we always get the most candy and stuffed animals for our kids. Erik brought a date and we had to worn her before the parade started that Ben was loud. Hopefully we didn't scare her off. Then off to our BBQ, which we all stuffed ourselves silly. I love the 4th. Then to the fireworks. This time Jae was fine, and we had brought along ear plugs for Boston, which seemed to help. We didn't get home til almost midnight, and then all crashed. We love the 4th, and wish it was once a month. The holiday not the day. Cant wait for next year!!

I dont have alot to blog about lately, but am sick of looking at the same pictures. So here are just a few fun ones.

Ben teaching Boston how to play Attactics. It a silly game that the Gunn boys always play in Park City. It is made up of Star Wars characters.

I came down staris and found the boys had dumped the cherrios all over the floor, and were being dogs. I was mad at first, but then remembered, boys need to have a little fun. So I just took pictures.

Park City

We spent the last week in Park City. We always have the best time. We are all together in 2 rooms which means that we spend the whole time together. We play games, swim, and eat,eat,eat, oh and how do I forget, shop. ( oh and the guys golf)

Jae loved swimming all the time, he would climb up onto the back of the chairs and watch people swim, and then ask us to take him.

Boston got really brave and swam without water wings on. Only small distances, but he loved it. By bedtime, the boys were worn out. It was awesome.

Boston really wanted to go on the Alpine slide, and so one of the last days we were there we took him. He loved it, as did Jaegan.

We reallt had so much fun, and we are so greatful for a wonderful Father-in-law that takes us to such fun places.

Oh, I keep forgetting about our shopping trips to the outlets. Maybe Im trying to block the memory becuase we spent way to much money. I love buying clothes for the boys and we always find such good deals. We went about 3 times, and tryed to get Jami to have her baby while we were in Park City from all the walking. She was such a trooper, to go with us. Hopefully soon, right Jame?

Jae's birthday cont...

The next day we had family over to our club house to have a swim party. The weather was supposed to be nice, when I planned the party. But the news said that it was going to be 70 and cloudy. I prayed for sunny weather, which I guess we got, but I forgot to pray for warm weather. Anyways, I think that we all had fun. Most everyone stayed in the hot tub except the brave boys that got in the pool. Thanks for everyone that came. Come again when it is sunny and warm.

PS. We got Jae a bike for his birthday, we thought that he could ride with Boston, but his legs are way to short to touch the peddles. They barley touch the ground.

Jae's Birthday

For Jae's birthday he wanted to go get pizza( he really told us, we asked him). So we took him to Pier 49 and had some delious pizza. He had such a great time. He loves pizza.

After wards we took him to Cold Stone and got some ice cream. He was so excited when he saw they had M&M's. He loves ice cream to. I think that he had the best birthday ever.

It was funny because the next day we went to try a little Hawaiian BBQ place that is next door to the Cold Stone. When we got out of the car, he started yelling and got so excited because there was "M&M, M&M" He was so disappointed that we were not getting ice cream again.

Jaegan is two!

I can't believe that Jaegan is two today. He is such a funny little kid. We have always called him Baby Jae, I guess we cant call him that anymore. He is so grown up.

A few things about Jaegan

1. He loves Boston, he wants to do everything that he does. He loves to swim in the pool with his arm floaties, because Boston does. He climbs up the bunk beds to be with Boston. He will follow Boston to the ends of the earth.

2. He has a temper. He gets so mad. If he trips and falls, he sticks out him pouty lip and yells at who ever is near by. We are working on it, we have to remind him to use his "nice voice" all the time.

3. He has to be the last one to kiss you good buy. When Ben leaves for work, if someone kisses him after Jae, he will pucker up and kiss him again. It is kind of cute.

4. He loves Wendy's chicken nuggets, when we drive by a Wendy's he will say. cuck, cuck. That means Chicken nuggets. He also loves to eat. You wouldn't guess it. He eats all the time.

Well Jaegan I love you. Happy birthday buddy.

Can you spot the diffrence?

Okay, there are a lot of differences, but the main one is the binky. I decided that since Jaegan turns two on Friday that it is time to get rid of the binky. I thought about the best way to take it away, and came to the conclusion that there is no easy way. You just have to take it away. He usually only has it at nap time and bed time, but Monday I decided to just take it away. So at bed time I didn't give it to him. He cried and cried , and finally I went to check on him, and realized that he was scared of the lightning and thunderstorm. (Boston was scared to), so I gave in and gave it to him, but since that time, he has not had a binky. I find him looking through the drawer that they were kept him. Then when I catch him, he looks at me with his sad face, and asks for it. Hopefully it will be a fast transition. Maybe we can potty train and take away the binky all at once. That would be sweet..

I took Boston and his friend Cooper to the Dinosaur park on Monday. They had so much fun. They likes acting scared and then running around the trails, trying to get away from the Dinos. Jae had fun trying to keep up with the bigger boys. One of the funnest parts was when they were taking turns sticking their heads in the cut-outs. I turned around and was watching Boston and Cooper and could hear Jae yelling for help. He had got his head stuck in the cut out. His ears were to big to get out. I had to go to his aid. It was pretty funny. Ever since we have got back, Boston has been asking to go again. So if anyone wants to go, let us know..

We went swimming for the first time this summer. We had so much fun. Emma and Logan were a little nervous but with a little encouragement, they both we having fun by the end of the day. Boston and Jaegan love the water, Jae put on some water wings and jumped in the deep end and loved swimming around. Cant wait to spend the hot summer days at the pool.

GNO ( girls night out)

We have such a fun time together! We get together once a month and do different activities. Last month we made watch bands, and this month we had a tea party. There is a very cute house in Farmington that they turned into Teas N Me. We all dressed up and laughed all night. If anyone is interested, you are all welcome. Cant wait til next month.
